What are the responsibilties of knights after being knighted?

In today's knights in England, what are their responsibilties?

There aren't any.  The title of knight is just that, a title.

Once they're knighted, they find it easier to get dated. The knights take their dates out at night. The knights are sometimes in a daze,  but the knights like the nights. The days are for the daisies. So nighty night all of you knights.
