What are the restrictions on exhaust pipes in California CA.?

Has anybody been pulled voer for this. what are the specifics of illegal pipes and legal ones. I am intrested in buying one for my 91 storm to add a low exhaust tone.

Exhaust system restrictions are found in Article 2 of Chapter 5 of Division 12 of the California Vehicle Code.  I have been pulled over for CVC § 27151(a), but it was only a verbal warning.
