Tomorrow my favorite brother in law is having a brain angiogram. I would like to know the best and worst case scenario, as my sister has been too upset to give details. Thank you in advance for all answers.

  1. Surgeons do this on a daily basis, i wouldn't worry.

I had this done and its just a warm sensation. Its basically a dye that an X=Ray picks up to see circulation. Well worth it for preventative measures.

The risks are small and as long as he will be observed in the hospital for a minimum of 2 hours after, he will be fine...especially if he is in the hospital where he will be observed thereafter.
