Here in Halifax, NS they are terrible. Potholes you can get lost in and congested traffic everyday! The downtown core is aweful! The city planners did a terrible job with the routing of traffic flow and the easing up of the congestion!

  1. Could be better in Albuquerque, but at least we're working on it,by making the roads wider, fixing one pothole at a time.adding more street lighting, updating freeway interchanges;ect! Actually, taking the state of New Mexico as a whole,I'd say we happen to have a real decent road infrastructure.

  2. i live in Cranbrook BC and the streets are so bad i put up a sign at the end of my block that says "4X4 only". i got in a little trouble for that as my uncle is on the city counsel. someone else also added a sign to the welcome to Cranbrook sign that said "land of 10 000 potholes". the RCMP never has to worry about people speeding because the roads are so rough.

there are four 3-A streets that are about 5 km's apart and the house numbers are similar.

we are not nearly as big as Halifax (20 000 people) but wow what a wreck.

  3. In Springfield, MO we have no highway through town at all, just around the outside.  That means you have to go through town to get anywhere, sit at a million stop lights, and fight traffic just to go anywhere.  Oh ya...and it's raining so people have forgotten how to drive all of a sudden.
