after rereading the question i think you mean the queen elizabeth I not the queen mother who died in 2002

  2. The role of the queen is now a public figure, due to the country basically being ruled by parloment.  She can make royal decrees, but she cannot declare war and halt it like old royals.

She is now a very big tourist attraction for UK, so thats why people who reside there pay her a tax, for bringing back its economy.

  3. She saved the economy, she made it to where England could compete with the superpower Spain, she kicked out the Catholic Church, she hired privateers to steal gold from Spanish ships, I could go on and on. She was by far the best queen of England.

She never got married. She had a hand in killing her distant cousin Mary Queen of Scots because she claimed the throne of England. Elizabeth was considered illegitimate by Catholics so that was her reasoning.

Her sister Mary nearly ruined England and Elizabeth turned the country completely around and made it great. And her awesome dresses helped.

The Renaissance was taking place in Europe and it was hard for scholars to print certain facts because of the Catholic Church so when she kicked out the Church and supplied her country with enough money the Renaissance was in full force.

    She was cool.
