What are the roles within a team?

can someone give me roles ina team(work related). i.e leader etc and briefly what they would do. thanks

Leader:  Makes sure all members of team are doing work needed in the provided time space and is able to help with all aspects of the group work to provide advice.

Depending on what needs to be done depends on the role names to be honest.

But say there was 5 big things needed done you could have someone to lead each of the groups.  With everyone else working within it to reach the same target.  You could call them Target Masters!

I think I went a bit off there but hopefully it was of some help.

Go with the Belbin theory of team roles on this one, I think there were 8 roles, leader, implementer, specialist, plant, coordinator, shaper, researcher, cant remember the rest. Too much to go into here, but there will be pages and pages about it on the net if you do a search for Belbin team roles.
