  1. The url below may answer your question, at least partially.

As far as 'root's, if you believe that all humans came from 'adam' [Sumerian translation of 'adama'='humans'], (although even this translation is questioned), or any such, then no one will probably change your mind....

  2. *******, caucasoid and mongoloid - the term "race" these days however is commonly used interchangeably with "nationality". Anthropologically, there are only 3 races.

  3. God

  4. Humans originated in Africa.

From there they populated the globe over tens of thousands of years.

  5. The prevailing view is that race is largely a social construct, and that racial differences happened fairly recently.  Racial differences in humans are mostly very shallow, things like common hair colors or facial structures.  Sometimes there are susceptibilities to disease, or something like ability to digest milk, that are associated with one race or another.  However, there are no "pure" races anywhere- humans have been roaming around, having kids with whoever they meet along the way, for millenia.

If I had to hazard a guess, though, I'd say that, since we likely all came out of Africa, the earliest humans looked more African.  After all, they're the ones most likely to have the traits that allow the easiest survival there.

  6. I hate to dispute everyone but look up -human skin color- in wikipedia and it says that light skin came first from the great apes.  Light brown, mostly likely, came next. Could that be when people moved into the middle east?  The darker colors would have been much later, wouldn't it?  I find it hard to believe that skin color could change in the 40,000 years that is said to be the European movement.  They had to be lighter than Africians are now.  I don't agree with current thought.  I think, we started off in Asia as a light tan color.   Thanks.

  7. We all got a common ancestor (a female of course) that is about about 400 000 years old! And coming from Ethiopia! So I guess you know which color of skin she was...

  8. As you know, there are no root races.  There is a root race  of African descent.  Scientiest attests to this as well as religious writings.   The three oldest known skulls are found in Northeast Africa.  Last week they found a set of teeth believed to have belonged to one of the skulls.  Of course, it was in Africa.

After the fact, it is said that all races broke down into three categories.  On one hand they are called *******, Mongoloid and caucasoid.     This is from a Scientific approach.

Ironically, the bible talks of only three extractions from the son of Japeth, Seth, and Ham.   Africa is the land of Ham.  Europe is the land of Japeth.   Semites (Jews and the likes) are the descendants of Seth.

Almost all other humans are derivatives.  There is no such thing as a multiethnic beginning of man.

  9. chimp...and possibly ape

  10. Africans.
