What are the rugulations in turning around on a one way street?

I was on a one way street and there is no out road to turn around so you have to turn around on the same street and go the wrong way down a one way. I got a ticket for it ,but there is no other road to go on because the gate is closed .

Regulations.  A one way street is a one way street.  For you to go the wrong way on a one way street is absurb.  You deserved the ticket.

The regulations would be to know where you are going first off so that you dont make that mistake and as for the gates being closed, there is no excuse....its called driver error..
