Question:

What are the rules about this?

I want to set up a blog to talk about politics/social issues.

But I also want to include a section that promotes/offers my freelance writing services. So, to a degree, it's for commercial use, though that's not the main point.

What are the rules about doing this? Does Yahoo require anything special (registering as a user in a special category, etc), or can I just set up my blog?

  1. Blogspot.com has an easy to use blog.  I don't know if the guidelines address commercial applications.  My own application is personal....and also nearly unvisited.  *wink*

Good luck, Crabby.  Let us know what you do.

Edit - I know you can add links to commercial sites, because I have.

  2. There are some Websites that do Blogs..do you have friendster or MySpace? you can set up your own blog there, and invite people to your friends list, and ask them to view your blogs if they have time..if it's interesting, they can be your fan too........
