i have my permit and live in Maine do i have to have an adult in the passenger seat ....how old do they have to be?

  2. first of all, read your permit, and after that, do us all a favor and don't drive!  How the h**l did you get it in the first place?

  3. Technically yes, you must have an adult in the vehicle (passenger seat)  while the vehicle is being operated. And the vehicle should belong to the person allowing you to drive. And I'm not sure about Maines laws, buy you may want to check about night driving and even talk to your local police department about this. They have to tell you the truth, by law.
