What are the rules of "Sorry"!?

My question is.... If you are 10 spaces from landing on the HOME spot.... and you pick a 12 from the deck, do you have to pass your safe zone and keep going or do you just forfeit your turn and wait for a 10 or less number to get you into the "safe zone"?

Now... the rules say if you CAN move... you MUST move.

I think this is a questionable move.

  1. If you are 10 away and get a 12, you move the 10 spaces forward but then reverse back 2 spaces.

  2. The rules of sorry are youe have to roll a 6 or a 1 to get out of home then you have to make it all the way around the board without getting nocked out. Then you have to get into home so that you are safe.Over all the main point of the game is to get all your pieces around the board and into home to win.

  3. There are quite a few online sites that have the rules.  You may find the answer at one of them.  Here are a few that seem good.
