What are the rules on copy right infringement?

Hi. I uploaded a video game trailer to you tube yesterday. A hour after the video was uploaded, i got an email from activision claiming that the video was copy right infringement.

I have a couple questions:

1. What EXACTLY is copy rightinfringement???

2. is it true that ( on a video ) as long as you display all the companies involved , the video can not be consided copy right infringement?

I disputed the claim, because the video got removed.

Was the video considered copy right infringement???

Should i remove the video???
