  1. It varies so much between airlines. Some airlines you can take 10kg carry-on and some will let you have 20kg. Some airlines go by the weight and some use the size of the bag do determine if you can bring it or not.

Check the website for the airline you are flying with as there is no general rule for all airlines regarding luggage.

  2. Each container has to be 3 ounces or less.

  3. The liquids size limit only applies to your carry- on bag.  The liquid needs to be brand new and needs to be 3 ounces or smaller and be in a quart- sized- zip- top bag.   It doesn't matter how much liquid you put in your check- in bag.

I think that you should bring a small tube of toothpaste, deoderant, and small tube of sunscreen into your carry- on bag and then put a bigger sunscreen and whatever else, liquids, you need on your check- in bag amd put it in yout purse the next day! 4. The following rules apply to all liquids, gels, and aerosols carried through security checkpoints.

       1. All liquids, gels and aerosols must be in three-ounce or smaller containers. Larger containers that are half-full or toothpaste tubes rolled up are not allowed. Each container must be three ounces or smaller.

       2. All liquids, gels and aerosols must be placed in a single, quart-size, zip-top, clear plastic bag. Gallon size bags or bags that are not zip-top such as fold-over sandwich bags are not allowed. Each traveler can use only one, quart-size, zip-top, clear plastic bag.

       3. Each traveler must remove their quart-sized plastic, zip-top bag from their carry-on and place it in a bin or on the conveyor belt for X-ray screening. X-raying separately will allow TSA security officers to more easily examine the declared items.
