Question:

What are the rules???

Ok so I have a question about my sister’s brother-in-law (my sister's husband’s brother)

I kind of like him. He’s sweet, funny and he’s one of the only guys I know that treat me like a person instead of a freak or something -- I'm overweight -- I don't get a lot of attention from guys so it’s nice to have him around. I’m not sure if he feels the same about me or not and I’m afraid to ask right now I guess.

Ok so my questions are:

I’m not sure of the rules is he my brother-in-law too? I mean are we related by their marriage?

Is it ok to have these feelings for him?

  1. Hi

Look if you like the guy then tell him. I don't believe you are related but may want to check that out first you know - just to be sure. Anyway looks shouldn't matter but if you are worried about that then work at it and hopefully he'll still be around when you're a little happier with yourself but by the way it sounds he is okay with the way you look. People can surprize you sometimes.

    Good luck -- Jade

  2. I would not consider it a crime to get with him.  I mean your sister is married, not you.  It's not like he is your ex husbands brother or something like that.  People marry their close cousins nowadays.  I do not think you would be breaking any rules by dating him.  You should tell him how you feel, and see where he wants to go with it.

  3. OH my gosh for crying out loud.YOu could marry him and nobody would care.He is not related and its very common for 2 sisters to marry 2 brother but dont ever let him know how you feel.Work out,eat healthy and if he likes you let him pursue you otherwise you will have years of weirdness and strange family get togethers if you hit on him and he doesnt feel the same way.Just be your very best and wait and see.Do not flirt or hang around too much just be normal.
