For some reason, all the sudden I feal like I want a cat. I never really liked them until recently, but now I love them. But anyway, where can I buy a one on the web without having to worry about it having some type of disease or something criminal involved.

  1. A spur of the moment decision is not the way to buy something that you may be responsible for  for 20 years. You cannot go back on the decision unless you are unconcerned that going back on it will probably result in that animals death.

That said if you want a cat and decide to make that commitment then there are alot of people advertising on craig's list Best of luck

  2. Petfinder.com! Give a sweet kitty or cat another chance to a new home!

  3. Petfinder.com

    its wondreful!

    check it out

  4. You should never buy a pet strictly from a web site. It's important to check things out. Now sometimes that might not be possible but you should get references. For cats check out the following: http://www.traditionalcats.com/

    http://www.cfainc.org/

    http://www.acfacats.com/

These are associations and you can locate responsible breeders this way. Also, check your local shelter/s' on line site/s.

  5. Go to an animal shelter and get one. Kitten, cat, they are all there. You'll feel good in knowing that you saved one more animal from dying unnecessarily, and its so fun getting to know them. You'll probably go back and get another. Thats what we did!! LOL! And we're SOOO happy we went to a shelter/pound/etc because they have to kill so many every day if they dont get adopted. Good luck! Cats are awesome.

  6. I am going to strongly urge you to check out your local shelters!! The most wonderful pets come from there. Maybe not purebreed, but just as loving and just as much character. They will even help you to find a match because they know the cats too. (I'm guessing you'll save a few bucks too.)

  7. go to the SPCA and adopt one. they are healthy and you can pick one out that is compatible with you, you don't actually pick a cat, they pick you. with dogs it's the other way around.

  8. I strongly suggest to go to a shelter they have kittens and everything besides you will be saving ones life.

  9. its best to just go to your local human society and adopt one from there. they have all been checked out by a vet. and you are helping to give a cat a home instead of it sitting there and being put down because it didn't get adopted.

  10. Websites aren't the best way to go. I'd check your local newspaper.

Every time I look at the classifieds, I see like billions of ads for free kittens and cats.

Or you could always check a local shelter.

If you don't find anything and you want to check out a website, Petfinder.com is a good way to go.

Hope you find a kitty! :)

  11. go to your local animal shelter and see who picks you out since animals are very good at picking their owners.

do a lot of research on how to properly take care of cats

  12. your best bet is the animal shelter...because there are bunches of cute little kittys waiting to either die or be adopted...if you buy online it probably comes from a mill...

  13. pet smart store
