  1. Physics is the science of matter and its motion, as well as space and time using concepts such as energy, force, mass and charge.  It is an experimental science, creating theories that are tested against observations.  Broadly speaking, physics is the scientific analysis of nature itself, with a goal of understanding how the universe behaves and it is about this that those involved often do get genuinely excited.

However, advances in physics often translate to the technological sector and therefore have commercial benefits.  For example, advances in the understanding of electromagnetism have led to the widespread use of electrically driven devices like televisions, computers and home appliances etc. and advances in thermodynamics led to the development of motorised transport.

Despite many important discoveries during the last four centuries, there are still a number of unsolved problems in physics which will provide opportunities for active research for many years to come.

  2. Physics is the scientific study of uninverse at all scales from the quantum realm upto the macroscopic realm.

It unconvers and attempts to explain EVERYTHING.

    Hope this helps : )
