  1. I personally have digestive issues and cannot take the pill, i dont absorb things as well. But I have taken Depo before and I like it a lot better than that.

I have two side effects, my b*****s and grown (just like with Depo) and so they are a little tender. But with nuvaring my libido doesnt go down. With Depo it all but went away, but I am constantly, but not crazily, horny.

But before I went on it I did some research and some people complained about all the normal side effects. I heard about weight gain (I have digestive issues), the nausea (which I had on depo). also breakthrough bleeding, but planned parenthood (its cheaper that way) said that can be corrected by going on the pill for a month (I also had this on depo the first dose but not the second...

I have only had my first one in for 2 weeks, so I don't know about this one first hand, but my friend said she didn't start her period until about 5 days after she took it out, so she was still on it when she had to put the next one in. And you can't use tampons when you have one in, so you have to use pads if this happens to you.

One more thing, my partner isn't huge, hes average, and the first time we did it didn't bother him, at least he didn't say anything. But it rubbed me really bad, and I had to take it out, but we actually had s*x again immedietly and I put it back in right after and I was ok.

So what I'd say is try it. Ive heard reviews of all birth controls both ways, you just have to try it and see. If you decide to try another, just so you know, Depo is proven to prevent calcium absorption in the hips, and my gyno really didn't like me being on that.
