  1. blackish clouds and a funnel forming

  2. I disagree with hail mostly coming with tornados. We have had a  good bit if hail with the last month but we aint had NO tornado warnings here or no signs of tornados.

  3. Sometimes there are green skies.

    High winds.

A huge change in the air pressure.

    A sudden silence.

    A loud train noise.

    A tornado siren.  :-)

A huge black cloud, a wall cloud, often rotating so much you can see it.  Sometimes you can see the black cloud from one half of your house and it'll be sunny on the other side of your house.

    A large rotating twister...  :-)

    Take shelter!!!

Maybe you are in Minnesota right now.  If you are there are tornado warnings (one in Nicollet County right now) but no confirmed tornadoes.  There was one on the ground in extreme southwest Minnesota, but only on the ground for a few minutes.  Some person said that there was damage, but there are no confirmed reports.

    Good luck!!!

  4. One of the major signs for the possibility of a Tornado is Hail!

Besides all the things already mentioned! Yes, to Greenish darkened sky, but if it's night the high rotating winds, lightening, and HAIL ALMOST ALWAYS accompanies them! I have actually lived through more than my share of them in both the Midwest & during the Hurricane season 04 in central FL. Hurricanes Charlie, Frances & Jeanne dropped by for a visit bringing many of their tornado friends!    NOW, we live in Atlanta and have had several Tornadoes here in the last 2 months. I'm thinking just don't live near ME! (lol)
