What are the signs that a demon is in your presence? ?

I will be the first to tell you that something is out there. However, I have yet to encounter a demon. I mean, if there were demons out there hurting people why is there even a debate about their existence? Wouldn't there be demon squads or patrols? As far as I can tell, ghosts or spirits get accused of being demons from a simple haunting. So, how can I tell the difference between a simple ghost and an evil demon? And Christians, I personally believe that ghosts and demons are two different things, so do not try to convince me of anything different.

demons want to hurt ppl... ghosts are usually waken to get revenge cuz somethin has woken them

Well, I have been studieng the devil and his demons for a while now and you guys and I know for sure one sign is that they tell you to do stuff that will hurt you or possibly others. I also know that some signs may be: Late night fevers , Loss of appetite , dreams of demons , weird thoughts of doing bad , shaking of furniture , Plates bein thrown , And yourself or another talking in a Demonic voice ...
