What are the similarities and differnce between locally grown made food products and imported ones?

  1. Well, no matter where they are grown, they will still be the same food... for example, corn is corn.

    The main differences would be based on growing conditions (rainfall, soil health, etc). For example, some areas with a drier season may have smaller crops or smaller ears of corn.

    However, being imported in many areas is going to be a requirement just based on where there is enough room to farm the food. Sometimes the ideal situation (all the food grown locally by people you know and trust) isn't an option, especially if you live in a larger city with more people to feed.
