  1. They're both purty!

    Really they have more differences than commonalities from a biological standpoint. They are both flowering plants, but after that they diverge completely.

    Division: Magnoliophyta

    Water Hyacinth :Class: Liliopsida  (Monocot)

    Rose: Class: Magnoliopsida (Dicots)
