both are used to multimedia but the computer is one step ahead.

they both have a screen, in side of them they have little tiny pieces that make what it is, and there both fun to do stuff with so your not bored like the t.v it has many channels you can watch and the computer has many things the internet, games, calender, and many other things which i will not name because there is to many things.

They used to be both CRT monitors.
