  1. Both study people and the way they act and interact with others

  2. I can give you this that may help you get started:

Compared to the great sociologists Marx and Durkheim,(who were focused on macro sociology), Sociologist George Simmel (1859-1918) was more focused on the 'micro' level.

    (with Weber in between levels)

For simmel, sociologists are not concerned with individuals!

His approach was particularly concerned with social 'form' rather than 'content.

The forms of human association and interaction which Simmel identified tended to be seen as part of the 'human condition', rather than tied to specific historical 'social conditions'. He tends to think that the inside of our heads are more influential than the structure.. (psychology).

  3. Psychology and Sociology both deal with people and their behavior patterns.  However, Psychology is only concerned with the individual while Sociology is focused on people doing things together in groups of two or more.
