  1. These examples should give you some idea:

    >>Can you come on Monday?

    >>Please do this in the morning?

    >>Give me the report in a week's time.

    >>Do arrive here on time(on time means punctually)

    >>He will be meeting her at night.

For yesterday, today and tomorrow, there is no need to use 'on' or 'in'.

    For example:

    The soccer team arrived yesterday.

    We shall depart tomorrow.

Today is a really hot day.

  2. If we speak of a particular day...we use 'on'

    I will come ON Saturday

    If less exact:

I will come IN a few days / IN a week

today, tomorrow and yesterday have no preposition.

  3. for diff times we use "in"

    like in the morning

to specify the time of a day we use 'in'

n to specify the day we do not use any preposition.

    eg.

like i will meet my friend tomorrow.

    (to specify a day)

    eg

i saw her in the morning

(to specify the time of a day)

bt if u specify a particular day of a week u hav to use "on"

    like

i will come to your house on monday.
