What are the small peephole in doors called?

I want to install one of those little peep holes in my front door, but i can't reember what the are called. Its the small lens that allows the person inside to see out but the person oudside can't see it. Anyone know what they are called and a good place to get them?

you can get one at any Lowes,home depot,maybe even walart,but they are called what they are I think, peepholes if not ask any person in hardware at whatever store you go to Iam sure they will point you in the rite direction

Dude, it's called a PeepHole!

Go to any store with a hardware department or to a locksmith.

I like the ones where you can stand back from it and see the whole scene on the other side of the door.  They cost more but they're better.  

With the basic ones, the person on the outside can tell when somebody's looking out because they can see the light inside go dark.

In an old 80's movie (Sharky's Machine w/ Burt Reynolds) a woman goes to look out her peephole and when the person outside see's the hole go dark, he blasts her face off with a shotgun!

they can be called security door viewers or peepholes....

as for a place to get them you should be able to get them at any hardware store, or places like Lowes or Home Depot.
