What are the some of the cheapest hotels in London?

I will be going to London in december and I would like to know of any hotels i could look into that are affordable.

You are going to a very expensive city at a very expensive time of year. Depending on our age and what you expect out of your intended lodgings, try for hostels or students residents apartments at some of the Universities, which should have something available. Most students will have gone back home for Christmas, You might just get lucky  and score some nice digs.

Failing that look for self catering apartments...loads on the net.

Just go to a website that allows you to sort prices and then look at the features and benefits of those that interest you.

This one has over 500 , but London is a big place and transport is expensive. Also time is important, so be near to what you want to do.

There are other places but you really need to plot the places on the maps and decide what standards and locations suit you best. The higher the star rating the better the value , and frankly cheap hotels in London are of a poor standard compared to other parts of the World. They tend to be damp , cramped , have old facilities and often thread bare carpets !!

But if you don't mind this , then go for your life and enjoy the city.
