  1. Environmentally, the UK would be in a far better situation that many other European countries.

A think tank in Great Britain recently concluded that with the UK's current population, and current food production capacity, that the UK would be able to provide for itself. A situation the think tank has dubbed 'Lifeboat Britain'.

The UK would also face many changes in their local climate.

as the earth warms up, the icecaps melt into the ocean, cooling it, just like ice cubes cool a glass of water. One of the effects of a colder ocean is the Gulf Stream would alter its course. The Gulf Stream is what gives the UK it's mild climate, most other countries at the same latitude receive much harsher weather, without the Gulf Stream the UK would receive much the same weather as countries like Canada and Russia.

However something those living in the UK can take solace from is that they are at a relatively high latitude.

The IPCC's new estimates for global warming during the 21st

century range from a minimum of 2 degrees C (just under 4 degrees F) to a maximum of 5.8 degrees C (over 10 degrees F). This will render the equatorial regions along with the temperate regions turning into desserts. However the UK will likely escape this because they are at a high enough latitude that the UK will escape being transformed into a desert and rather the climate will be slightly warmer.

  2. oh no Its raining again Floods

  3. there is?!

  4. A massive increase in the sales of all forms or waterproof clothing , boats and wetsuits

  5. Much nicer weather than the c**p you have now.

  6. Extra heavy taxation to support the global warming hoax.

I read where most of the UK is really fed up with being taxed to the hilt and nothing changes.

I don't blame them for being angry paying for a scam.

  7. I am hoping Europe warms up enough that people can no longer stand their stink and start bathing and using deodorant daily.

  8. Climate change is a handy excuse for governments to raise more tax and business to charge more for products.

  9. More flooding for england apparently. ;)
