What are the sound cards in acer extensa 2300?

i need to know because i formatted my xp-pro and now it isn't registering any sound cards and all the forums ive found say that i need to know what my sound cards were before i can fix my driver

To find out what they are, follow these instructions:

1. Go to your start menu

2. Click "Run", if it is not there, type "Win (Windows Key) + R"

3. Once the Run Dialogue is open, type in "dxdiag" without the quotes.

4. Go to the "Sound" tab and the name for it should be there.

5. Google search the drivers for the device.
