  1. Not going to happen they are to far from being street legal to start with. and there is a important piece of paper that does not come with them. They are not safe to ride in traffic. they are TOYS

  2. Wow thats crazy that you are even considering this.  I'm pretty sure that there arn't any laws for street legal pocket bikes.

  3. Short answer, You cant.

They werent built to be ridden on the street and the money you would pour into them to make them reliable, strong, safe, comply them and register and insure them would be massive.

Start from the ground up. An engineer would laugh at you trying to make one road legal.

Tires are slicks, They need to be changed.

Wheels and bearings arent speed rated. Need to change.

    Brakes. No failsafe system. Fail.

Suspension. Front. Nil. Rear. Nil. Fail.

No turn signals, headlights, brake lights, Fail.

Frame isnt made from approved materials. Fail

Motor isnt capable of safe speeds. Fail

    Bodywork isnt safe. Fail

Exhaust doesnt comply and not approved. Fail

    Dont even think about it.

  4. headlight! tailight! can it run in taffric? 60 miles per hour with a tracktor trailer next to it with out being blow off the road?

  5. they just arent. They are too little. You cant make them legal in thier present form.

  6. In addition to what's listed above you may find something like this (cut and paste, link below):

    TITLE XXI

    MOTOR VEHICLES

    CHAPTER 265

    RULES OF THE ROAD

Rules of the Road; Pocket Bike

    Section 265:123-a

265:123-a Operation Prohibited. – No person shall operate a pocket bike upon any way or allow a pocket bike owned by him or her to be operated upon any way. No pocket bike shall be issued a vehicle registration or certificate or title.

Means that no matter what you do, it won't be on the road in my state.

  7. most are 49cc, some are 110cc.... the 49cc maybe, might be able to be classed a moped/scooter, the 110 maybe, might be a bike

where i am (saskatchewan, canada), you need:

speed rated tires 14" or bigger

    24" seat height min

    30" frame neck height min

ground clearance to lowest point 4"min 7" max

dot lamps and reflectors all around

high beam on bike, low beam only on moped/scooter

oem brand brakes front and back, no no-name stuff*

oem brand front end, no no-name stuff*

    baffled exhaust

a professionally built frame (no homejobs) with 17 digit vin

IF it meets ALL of that, you can have it inspected as a homebuilt or kit bike

i'm sure it varies by jurisdiction

*by no no-name stuff, i mean you must be able to show that the parts came from an already street legal produced bike, like a 1980 whatever honda so and so.... as long as they were once already production

  8. Inconceivable!
