What are the stars, levels, and points for, with your yahoo! character?

I would really like to know, can some of you please tell me what they are and for?

You get points by doing various activties like answering questions, etc. Once you gain enough points, you can move to the next level.  The stars on each question are how many other users have rated that question as interesting.  See http://answers.yahoo.com/info/scoring_sy...  for all the details.  Good luck and welcome!
