  1. Its $99, which goes to your state's department of insurance. $40 of that goes to FBI for criminal background check.

    With $99, you get:

    1) Books for your life insurance school

    2) Go to life insurance school (usually 2 days long, but it varies in some states)

    3) Get reimbursement for your state life exam when you pass it.

    4) If fingerprinting is needed in your state, you get reimburse for that as well.

    5) Get mortgage certification (your state may charge a fee for this, but in some states such as New York, its free).

    6) When you qualify for District Leader promotion, you get self-study books to take your Series 6 & 63 exam and your exams are paid for by Primerica. When I took these tests, I had to pay all of it, which was about $500. But now, its free as long as you qualify to be District Leader.

If you wish, you may subscribe to PrimericaOnline.com (POL) for $25/month, which allows you to manage your business online. On POL, you get:

    1) Access to training materials

    2) Productivity report on you and also people in your business

    3) Information on your clients

    4) Email

    5) Your own Primerica website

    6) Support system

    7) Practice exams for your life and securities license.

    8) Access to Morningstar Hypothetical Portfolio builder (for securities licensed reps only).

    9) Company news

    10) Current company contests.

    11) See your competition within the company (you can view by state, by country, or throughout the entire company).

    12) Compliance and regulations information to keep your business safe from lawsuits and wrong doings and to protect the consumer from fraud and privacy intrusions.

    13) Access to your Regional Vice President's Virtual Baseshop. This is where your RVP will post important information, training manuals, and other data.

    14) Company store to buy brochures and other print outs. You can also buy your own business cards.

So its $99. The $25/month is optional, but its worth the investment since you have access to all kinds of information.
