  1. Well, first thing is to get a tourist visa... remember, brazil's immigration now requires tourist visa from american for about 2 years now, so you can check all the info on how to get a visa to brasil online at the brasilian consulate. If you search for brazilian consulate you should find the nearest one near you and all the documents necessary.

Next step is the decide what kind of trip you wanna make... summer beach vacation... ecology tourism... big city vacation... I would recommend you to check out online after deciding what kind of vacation you are looking for... If you are looking for summer beach I would recommend you to stay away fro Rio de Janeiro (even though that's the only place American know when you say Brazil) not only for the crime level, but I really think there are much better places to check out... like the state of Santa Catarina, the region of Nordeste...these place have gourgeous beaches... if you are lookinf for ecology, I personally recommend "Bonito" you can seach online. I personaly know it well and think that 's the top ecology tour you can make in Brazil... now, if you are looking for going to the city, I would recommend " Curitiba ", even though it is not as known internationally as Sao Paulo or Rio de Janeiro, it is a great beautiful city, the most beautiful city in Brazil in the big city level.

I hope I was of help.

  2. you need a visa and pass port I've been there Meany times foods cheap most places  you go they Way your food s****.>
flay men yon is the same price as watermelon get lots of maps they don't have Meany street sines sorry about the spelling

it vary hot there and vary beautiful

  3. Check all the request: passport, papers, vaccine, air ticket... In November we are in summer, so, don't miss the sun and beaches in Brazil, you gonna love all here!!

You can have more infos about visa here:http://www.brazilny.org/

    or

    http://www.embaixada-americana.org.br/in...

You should visit Fortaleza, Maranhão, Bahia and some of those cities below :

    Copacabana - http://www.copacabana.info

    Recife - http://www.braziltravels.info

    Good travel! =)

  4. Check visa requirements and book your ticket as soon as possible, year end is always very busy as all Brazilians who live abroad come back home at this time.

Then try to find the places you want to visit in Brazil, and bear in mind that this coutry is huge you need time to go to one place to the other if you do not have a budget to fly.

You should find out some info on Sao Paulo (the biggest city in Brazil, with approximately 20 milion people, business oriented and full of nightlife possibilities, very international and expensive), Rio de Janeiro (big but beautiful city, cool if you like to mix shopping and beaches, touristic places to visit), Bahia (my favourite state in the northeast of Brazil, beach holidays, smaller places to visit like the villages of Trancoso or Itacaré with warm water and cooconut farms), Santa Catarina (south of Brazil, more European influence, find out something about Florianopolis and the villages on the seashore around that area: Guarda do Embaú, Praia do Rosa...).

After deciding what in Brazil you want to see, you can check the flights and hotesl in those places. I will be happy to help you should you need. I am Brazilian and love travelling...

    Cheers
