What are the steps?

Is this the right step????? what am i forgetting???? I know how to play local tournaments, But Do i need like handicap index card or something for state and amature, pga?

Well I dated a PGA pro, if memory serves me, it's about finishing in the top.  ;o)

Yes!  To attempt to Monday qualify for a PGA event, you have to have a handicap of 1.4 or better.  I read this on the PGA tour website.  You have to have a handicap for certain amateur events as well.

Well, the rest of you are stating the obvious.......Ok, compete in local club tournaments, anything you can play-play.  It will improve your game, and if you finish in the top 10- you get money, nothing wrong with that right??  Handicap-  You need to go to www.pga.com  because they have a section on how to apply, tournaments to compete in, etc. State- check your state's policy, call them, e-mail them, do what you gotta do to contact them.  Every state's different, so i cant help you there.  but, like i said, Compete in as many tournaments as you possibly can, contact the state, and contact PGA by visiting www.pga.com
