  1. All death investigations are treated like crime scenes, so it would be investigated like a homicide until the evidence proved otherwise.

  2.   They  will  call  C.S.I.      he, he,he

  3. 1. make sure the person is really dead, never assume.

    2. you go through an  investigation like notifying the detectives, photo the scene and check for evidence (like you see on CSI only a bit less thorough) , you do not know it was a natural or a homicide or whatever. It is not your decision.

    3. you run the name on the ID. See what's up, reported missing?

    4. you notify the coroner/M.E. who will eventually make a determination of cause of death, They use the results of your immediate investigation and the autopsy to make that decision.

    5. Usually at the morgue you fingerprint the body and run the prints.

    6. Once you ID the body you notify the family if any.

    7. You go where your investigation leads you.

  4. Are you in the process of confessing something to the yahoo answers community?
