  1. You really did not give a nuff information. Get the repair Manuel It will tell you what to do. Boat dealership might help you. Add gas stabilizer in the fuel. Fog the carburetor.  If it is just motor or the boat. Fill the water lines and motor  with antifreeze.  I have seen where some put a plastic bag over the prop.


  2. if it's an inboard, check mercruiser.com. if an out board, drain the lower unit and put in new lube. most motors have a fogging connection prior to the carburator to attach a can of fogger. clean the spark plugs and spray a light coat of  wd40.check the plug for wear and gap .disconnect battery and remove it. remove drain plug from the hull. all pumps should be drained of water as well as water lines. if you use antifreeze be sure its marine type not auto.

  3. It depends on how cold it gets where you are and what engine is on the boat.
