no stereotypes...none that I've heard of anyway. I just think of westlife when I hear bout Sligo lol

I assume you are referring to traditional sterotypes during the protestant ascendensy. People from Sligo and Mayo (not really sure about Clare) were usually considered to be backwards and from a desolate area. But then again, so were all Irish in British eyes.
