  1. It depends on the doctor.  I raised h**l until my dr. tied mine.  I was 22 stuck in a crappy marriage and the mother of 2.  I am now 29 happily remarried and regret the decisicion I made.  I wish everyday that the dr. had said no.  I felt like 2 was the perfect number of kids for me since there father was never around.  If you are young I would suggest an IUD or another form of birthcontrol.  Things in life are always changing and you may have a different view a few years down the road.  Good luck hun

  2. Depends on your circumstances, where you live and what your OB/GYN is like, the best person to ask is the doctor that will doing the surgery. Since you are going to be having twins I gather soon, you may want to find out so that you can have it done after you give birth.

Some doctors will not do it if you are under 30, some will do it if you have a couple of kids and are in a committed relationship regardless of your age, and then there are others who will do it at any age(for the ones who know they do not want children at all)

They are more apprehensive to do it if you are not in a relationship or have just gotten out of one, for the obvious reasons.

  3. Really just depends on how your doctor feels. If you are in a committed relatiomship that you both are comfortable in and both of you are determined that two is enough (at least together) then there should be no problem.  I had a hysterectomy in my early 20's because i had fybroids and i dead set against having any more kids.  He said okay.

  4. i was 28 when i had tubes tied after my triplets birth. I also already had 3 boys at home. i also had made it clear that i wanted my tubes tied after birth.

  5. It is up to you. Your DR. will ask you ?s like what if something happened to one of your children or what if you divorced and wanted children with your new hubby. Be firm in your choice ,because it is your choice, and let your DR. know this is what you want.
