  1. an atom breaks down into protons, neutrons and electrons

protons and neutrons form the nucleus, while electrons orbit around the atom

there are the same amount of electrons as protons, however the neutrons varies...

  2. protons, neutrons, and electrons.

but to get more specific, protons and neutrons are made of certain quarks and gluons.

so really the things that make up atoms are:

    up quarks

    down quarks

    gluons

    and electrons.

and there are "virtual" particles that are exchanged inside nucleons, like antiquarks. but they are called "virtual" for a reason. they exist for a split second.

  3. Nuetron

    Electron

    Proton

  4. rainbow sprinkles, shiny marbles, and cheese

  5. Protons, neutrons and electrons.

  6. neutrons, electrons, and protons and probably some other things we havent discovered.

  7. electrons, protons, and Neutrons
