What are the symbols by the cabin numbers mean?

when you scroll down under ship decks and click on a variety of levels like 'Norway'. It shows that the cabin number have a variety of different symbols by the number. what do those symbols mean?

  1. if it's the letters like  D1,,,D2    E3  E1, that is just a catagory they assigned the cabin depending on how it's rated as to where it is on the ship and room size etc.

    The symbols mean things like handicap access, room for 4 compared to room for 2.  interconnecting rooms.

  3. its the class of the cabin, like on cars theres the honda lx or ex, same with cabins, hey im going on this ship on aug 16!!!!!

  4. it could mean many things. it could mean they have a veranda or window view, it could mean its got specific ammenities that others dont, as the guy above me said, it would be best to ask the cruise line.

  5. Read the legend on the website. A triangle may mean the cabin sleeps 3, a diamond may mean the beds convert to a queen. Call the cruise line as they might mean different things on different cruise lines.
