  1. Yellowish brown f***s, throwing up, excessive thirst, lethargy, eyes that look glazed over..my dog had it but she is better now after $1500 vet bills.  I fortunately bought her from a pet store and the store reimbursed me...maybe you can take her to the vet during free clinic hours...I know Banfield Hospitals have that...call around you might find a free clinic, but if it is Parvo..it is going to cost a lot to keep her alive, she would need fluids, antibiotics, etc.  At least take her to a vet and they can do a parvo test.  I hope your puppy gets better.

  2. The majority of dogs presented with parvovirus show signs of fever, lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, and lack of appetite. In severe cases the diarrhea is very watery and frequently bloody, with a telltale odor. They are very ill, with significant abdominal pain. The virus is so strong that it literally causes the lining of the intestines to slough. It is painful to eat, and with the severe diarrhea and vomiting that is present, they rapidly become dehydrated. The also have a disruption in their electrolytes (sodium, potassium, chlorine) that adds to the weakness.

Having a pet requires that you take proper care. If you can not afford a vet visit you can not afford a pet.

  3. There is this website at http://dog-parvo.blogspot where you can find all sorts of useful information on the symptoms of the dog parvo virus.
