  5. well it depends on what you mean by mentally ill is the person talking to someone thats not there or does he think the government want him for a project or something.... is he painting the inside of his glasses black so nobody seeing what hes seeing ....those are some symptoms of a parinoid scittzophrinic a person who hears voices when no one is there... That is a person that is mentally ill...is that what you mean...

  6. It depends on the illness.  In most cases, there may not be any outward appearance of an illness, it may manifest as peculiar habits, or strange ideas.  Nothing is universal to all mentally ill people, and mental illness itself is not well-understood, although we have a better grasp of it than we used to.  If, for example, you are talkng about schizophrenia, a typical sign is strange, jerky, muscle movements, usually on one side of the body.  Delusions, paranoia, or the 'highs and lows' of depression and bi-polar disorder are also recognized as symptoms.  Basically, mental illness comes in varying types, so the best thing to do would be to look up the DSM-III, or a merck manual.

  7. They act funny...

  8. social with drawl, excessive tiredness, paranoia, sad, crying, mood swings, feeling sick all the time for no apparent reason, unable to concentrate, running thoughts, a lot more. . .Depends on what illness.

Most of the time people say that I'm a good person, I don't get in trouble and try to be responsible. My problem is noticeable when people try to make small talk with me. I have a hard time keeping the conversation.

is not lack of culture, I read & go to the opera and also travel around the world often.

I've lived in Europe and I used to be an artist.

    I don't have a lot of friends.

Even with a very high IQ and a College degree I have a hard time finding a job or keeping one.

Most of the time I keep my life to myself. I have a lot of life experiences in my adventure travels. Lots of stories that I wish I could tell, but can't.

    More symptoms:

    Can't stand loud noises

Can't look at people in the eye

    Anxiety

    Ups and downs

    obsessions

    funny body posture

    not good at sports

rocking when in public  ( lots of people give me weird looks for this one)

       ..............................they don't realize that I can't help it,  I think they're rude.

    I also can't fake a smile.
