what are the symptoms of a yti becuase my cat all of assunden has been pooping in the base ment is that a sign is he trying to tell us he is sick???

Do you mean a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection)?

If so, the symptoms are blood in the urine, frequent urination. Neuters get these cat illnesses easier. Treatment (antibiotics, diet) is very well possible, but feline urinary tract infections may recur.
