What are the symptoms of anemia?

Has anyone suffered from anemia without knowing of having it? What are the symptoms?

Anemia is when your body doesn't have enough red blood cells to adequately carry oxygen to your tissues. Some of the symptoms include weakness, pale skin, a fast/irregular heartbeat, shortness of breath, chest pain, dizziness, and numbness/coldness in your extremities. I don't have it but I am a nurse and I strongly suggest that you go see your doctor if you are having any of the symptoms and believe you may have it. Good luck!

Tired, weak, yellowy coloring, purple circles under your eyes, and when I wore jewlery (gold) it would leave black marks on my skin.
