  1. My daughter was latose intolerant.  Her hands became swollen once and i took her to hospital.  Also when she was sick and it touched her skin, it would leave red marks and the same on her bottom.  She ended up having Wysoy (soya formula milk) which i got on prescription from the doctor.  I would go back to the doctor or a diff one in same practice.  Also had to get vegan cheese and yogurts.  Now six she has grown out of it but she still drinks soya milk!  Hope this helps

  2. I`m lactose intollerance. If your baby throws up or gets hives when he/she has a milk product then they are lactose intollerance.

By the way if you know someone who is lactose intollerance be careful of what they eat milk is hidden in stuff.

  3. always throwong up. your doctor will run tests for it

  4. my 9 week old son was diagnosed with milk allergy at 11 days old. he had runny stools, failed to gain weight from almost the day he was born and on day 10 also had blood in his poo. i thought he had a bad tummybug and brought him to hospital where he was diagnosed with animal milk allergy (including my own) after tests on his blood and stool. he is now on an amino acid based formula called Neocate.

of course he is an extreme case, from what i was told by the baby doctor at the hospital most babies vomit after feeds, don't gain weight as well as they should and have a lot of gas and coliky symptoms, can's remember if he said anything about runny poos.

go back to your doctor and tell him about your suspision and ask for an allergy test just to put your mind at ease.

  6. i think my daughter was lactose intolerance when she was a baby. all she did was cry all the time, always had her knees in her tummy the first time i gave her some soy formula she was fine.  she was 6 months old when we found out.

  7. Throwing up is the first sign. My brother is lactose intolerant, he gets a runny nose continually and sneezes alot, but I don't know if this would apply exactly to a baby.
