What are the taxi charges in Paris?

Could any please tell me how are passengers charged by taxi in Paris? I mean what is the tariff for travelling in a taxi? What is the minimum charge and how much do they charge after the minimum charge. Please quote in EURO.

The minimum fare in Paris is 5.60 EUROS.

They charge 2.10, when you get in then between 0,82 to 1.33 euro per km (depending on time of day and destination)

A ride from CDG airport to Paris is around 50 euros.

The best in Paris is to use the public transportation system, they are much cheaper!

I agree with the first two posters: unless you've got lots and lots of disposable income, take the métro or the bus. You'll save a small fortune in the long run. And Paris is fairly compact, so in some cases you can probably even walk. But for longer trips, the métro is probably your best bet.
