  3. 1) Reduce regulation

    2) Reduce any part of government that can be performed by private industry

    3) Return fiscal discipline, raise taxes and pay down the debt

    4) Determine which parts of America's benefit system must be eliminated

    5) Legalize cross border employment for Mexicans and Canadians, limited only to prohibiting criminal border crossing

    6) Permit nearly unlimited work permits for foreign professionals, this would also drop the cost of medicine since many American trained foreign physicians cannot work here.  It is the supply constraint that is driving prices.

  4. A) Get out of the way of Free Markets

    B) Let the economy fail so it can recover and grow.

You must have failures to yield prosperity. Protecting markets from failures is Socialism and will do more harm than good in the long run.

  5. first of all, it is normal for the economy to fluctuate over and under potential GDP.  It is part of the normal business cycle.  However, in order to minimized the extreme ups and downs the government has tools at it's disposal.  You can divide the tools as either monetary or fiscal.   In my opinion the government is doing a poor job on the fiscal policy.   How can anyone expect the economy to be booming when we have the biggest account deficit in U.S. history?  When all we seem to be doing is creating policy funded with more debt.   How do you think we can have a good economy when we can even run a balanced budget? When we cut taxes left and right.  I believe that all the trouble we are seeing in the economy today (stagflation, higher unemployment, a worthless currency, etc)  are the symptoms of poor fiscal policy compounded over 8 years of executive and legislative mismanagement.

People can point fingers and play the blame game, but in the end just remember where the buck is suppose to stops.

  6. Really crack down on most illegal immigrants, that are taking many jobs... and leaving citizens unemployed.
