I want to set up an eating area in a nearby public park. I have noticed that it is much difficult to have a picnic there on the ground. It should accomodate about 10 persons. Thanks in advance.

  1. Use the park's picnic tables for a food table

Grab card tables or patio tables to use

Set up a tent for shade (unless you want to rick bird p**p)

  2. Consider getting an equine fly repellent spray.  You can spray it on yourself, your pets, tables, walls.  (Before you put the food out of course)  I use stuff called "Bronco Equine Fly Spray".  It will drastically reduce the fly problem.  It also won't stain clothing or furniture.  "Bronco" has a citronella scent just like bug repelling candles.

  3. don't forget about ants, don't put it under tree, unless you have canopy, birds may land in tree and do what they do naturally.
