Cancun is a year round paradise with so many activities in the water, it is truly an amazing place. I highly recommend Dolphin Discovery because they are an excellent company and they really treat their dolphins right. The great aspect to doing the program with them is that it is conducted on Isla Mujeres. After your swim session, ask them to call you a taxi to take you to the north town. Once you are there, rent a golf cart and tour the island on your own self guided day trip. There's lots to see and do and it's very relaxing.

Snorkel tours are a dime a dozen down there, including the Jungle Tour which is a local tour given by Aquaworld and others alike. I think the best snorkel tour is the Snorkeling Adventure, which takes you to a reef off shore in the nearby town of Puerto Morelos.

The eco parks are wonderful too, but the best snorkeling and water activities in my opinion are at Xel-Ha. I am not saying Xcaret isn't a great place to spend the day either, but I prefer Xel-Ha. I also like the All-Inclusive meal plan option they offer, it saves lots of money and time.

Finally, if you ware traveling during the summer months, you should consider doing a swim with whale sharks. This tour is amazing, it puts you in the water along side the worlds largest fish and don't worry, THEY DON'T BITE!

Lots of companies offer this tour, just make sure you book in advance with a company that is fully licensed. You need to book in advance because the tours sell out since they are only offered in the summer. Look for a license number displayed on the website, and make sure they offer a rescheduling and cancelation policy, most do not offer this.

Swim, swim, swim.

Snorkel and diving around Cancun and Isla Mujeres.

Swim with dolphins.

Swim in the underground caverns near Cancun. They are called CENOTES.  Do not miss this.

Also you have to go to Xcaret, Ecological Park near Cancun.  Also another must.

Do not forget your under water camera equipment.
