What are the things you cannot do after you get your spleen removed??

The only long lasting side effect is that you need to get a pneumonia vaccination every 5 years and maybe a flu shot every year.  Your doc can tell you that for sure.  But otherwise, life had gone on as before.  no affect from drinking, childbirth, surgeries,  

The spleen is one of the organs used to filter your blood, but there are other organs that do that also.
