  1. What type of door are you talking about?

An interior or exterior, single or double swing door . Which way the door is turning, inside outside? Or do you mean a  sliding door or pocket door?

When you asked your question you had your door in mind, but without knowing what door you have in mind, there are many options with different implications for having a solution for your problem.

For example the sweep that is mentioned can be used for a front door that swings inside. But when you put it on a door that swings outside it can bring inside the ruble that is before the door when you close the door.  Also the existence of a threshold or doorstep changes the way you solve your problem. I suggest to give some more details about your door or doors.

  2. If you want it permanently mounted its called a door sweep. If not you can buy whats called a door snake

  3. i know them as door skirts. you can get then at almost any hardware store or wal-mart/k-mart/home depot. they have an aluminum strip with a rubber skirt at the bottom. there are adjustment slots where the metal strip is screwed to the bottom of your door. with just a little care full planning ahead they do a very good job of sealing that gap at the bottom of the door.
